Calling ALL Volunteers - First Charlotte Gluten Free Expo Committee Meeting Ahead

Perhaps you've heard the news...
I can't wait to tell you if you haven't.
It's fitting to announce this ground-breaking event for Charlotte's gluten free community right before May - Celiac Awareness Month...

Johnson & Wales University Charlotte Campus and R.O.C.K. Charlotte are co-sponsoring to host the First Charlotte Gluten Free Expo for the gluten free community and to raise celiac awareness!

First Charlotte Gluten Free Expo
to be held on August, 7th, 2010
Johnson & Wales University Events Center/Hance Auditorium
10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Admission will be free with required pre-registration

This important event is for the whole gluten free community and to raise celiac awareness, therefore R.O.C.K. Charlotte needs ALL volunteers who are willing and want to commit time to helping us in our quest to make this show awesome enough that Johnson & Wales will host us year after year!

This is not a R.O.C.K. event, it is an event for the whole community.

To have the first expo sponsored by Johnson & Wales University with a top notch culinary department is like a dream come true!
They have generously given us their full support including a demo with internationally known Chef - Peter Reinhart! Chef Peter Reinhart is a multi recipient of the James Beard Foundation Award and noted author with a specialty in baking. He was also instrumental in developing Amy's Kitchen gluten free product line available in stores nationwide.

We are very honored and excited that Dr. Ivor Hill - Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Chief Section Head of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Brenner's Children's Hospital, Wake Forest Medical University will be our keynote speaker!
Full event details on the R.O.C.K. Charlotte website will updated as we progress -
So stay tuned in to the buzz on Expo news and events right here!
It's all exciting!

But, we only have 3 months to make this all happen and be the best gluten free expo we can have which will take lots of volunteers willing to devote time to the project.

*Don't miss out on the opportunity to be a part of making the First Charlotte Gluten Free Expo a huge success that will continue on past the time that you give to such a worthy cause*
